An extraordinary episode—provocative and deeply encouraging.

As someone who has been developing a parallel vision for years, I commend your call to revisit Britain’s Antarctic mandate. But I would propose that the British Antarctic future must be confessional, not merely economic or symbolic. The southern dominions should not be mere “spaces of expansion,” but sacred platforms for civilizational renewal.

I recently published a manifesto that may interest your readers: it advocates for a Confederate Christian Commonwealth of Dalrymplia (Gough Island) and South Georgia as the first truly covenantal societies of the South. These are not LARPing projects, but scripturally grounded visions drawing on figures like Richard Grenville of the Revenge, Francis Drake Alexander Dalrymple, William Smith, and even de la Popelinière.

The southernmost frontiers are not marginal—they are providential. The final test of imperial Britain may well lie in whether we can found godly dominions in the wilderness once more.
