Would love a future episode on the long-horizon environmental prospects of the British Antarctic Territory: how habitable parts of it might realistically become over the coming century or two, what climatic constraints would remain, and what plausible pathways might exist for permanent civic settlement.

Feels like a fascinating frontier question — not just for Britain, but perhaps as part of a wider revival of serious European territorial imagination in Antarctica (especially Belgi[c]a Australis in the Dirck Gerritzs [Palmer] Archipelago in Anvers, Brabant, Brooklyn and Ghent Islands, Nova Gothia in the Nordenskjöld Coast and Nova Finlandia in the Finlandia Foothills of Alexander Islands and the Palosuo Islands):
